Twin Palms is a boutique motel in Palm Springs, California
The branding takes inspiration from one of the most unique times in American design. By combining nostalgic elements such as key tags, postcards, and matchbooks with contemporary color palettes, the branding creates an experience that’s both familiar and attractive.
Ephemera
One of the most important parts to creating the Twin Palms experience was designing authentic ephemera (things that exist or are used or enjoyed for only a short time).
The ephemera collection includes functional contemporary versions of typical motel items. For example, a room key as well as key tag. Other items include door hangers, matchbooks, postcards, and a menu that guests would receive in a check-in folder upon arrival.
